The International Conference on Experiential Learning returns to the UK for the first time since the inaugural conference in London in 1987. The conference is aimed at practitioners, educators/teachers, trainers, community leaders, therapists, managers, policy-makers, researchers and others interested in experiential learning.

The conference will provide a unique opportunity to showcase and exchange ideas and insights about the nature of leadership and how the process of experiential learning can develop and strengthen leadership for individuals, groups, companies, communities and society on a local, national and international level. It will also ask key questions about leadership for the future. There will be a range of strands including:

 * Youth Leadership * Business Leadership

  * Leadership in Education * Community Leadership

  * Leadership for Health *Leadership and the Environment

 * Leadership and Mentoring * International leadership

Come join in the celebrations, as the conference will be a celebration of Brathay’s 60
th Anniversary and ICEL’s 10
th International Conference. These celebrations will provide a framework from which the conference will look at the history of experiential learning, viewed both from Brathay’s work over the past 60 years and also from the perspective of international developments since ICEL’s inaugural conference in 1987. A number of events will celebrate these significant milestones.
